Sales Assistants Required

Two Part-time (25 Hours) charity shop sales assistants required

Location

1. Ashbourne
2. Phibsboro

Main Activities/ Tasks

• To assist and serve customers, providing a high standard of service
• To assist with processing stock, including sorting, steaming and pricing of donated items.
• To be involved with the till operation and the handling of cash
• To promote public understanding of the work of the Irish Deaf Society and the importance of raising funds through the charity shop.
• To supervise staff when supervisor absent
• To accept key holder responsibilities

Qualities/ Experience/Skills

• Mannerly, with excellent customer care skills
• The ability to get on with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
• Friendly and outgoing
• Be comfortable working as part of a team
• Ability to use their own initiative when needed
• Shop/sales experience essential.
• Irish Sign language desirable.

Hours of Work

• The hours of work are flexible, but Saturday work is required
