“My name is Wendy Murray, I’m the Chairperson of the Irish Deaf Society; And I am also a woman. I say this in honour of this Sunday, March 8th 2015 being International Women’s Day. This gives all Women to celebrate their pride at being Women, through any hardship or tough times they may have faced.
In Ireland, Women are considered equals, but we must remember Women from around the world who don’t have this same equality, so let us remember them too on this day.
We can be proud women and we can achieve whatever we want to do.”
