Two Part-time (25 Hours) charity shop sales assistants required
Location
- Ashbourne
- Phibsboro
Main Activities/ Tasks
- To assist and serve customers, providing a high standard of service
- To assist with processing stock, including sorting, steaming and pricing of donated items.
- To be involved with the till operation and the handling of cash
- To promote public understanding of the work of the Irish Deaf Society and the importance of raising funds through the charity shop.
- To supervise staff when supervisor absent
- To accept key holder responsibilities
Qualities/ Experience/Skills
- Mannerly, with excellent customer care skills
- The ability to get on with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
- Friendly and outgoing
- Be comfortable working as part of a team
- Ability to use their own initiative when needed
- Shop/sales experience essential.
- Irish Sign language desirable.
Hours of Work
- The hours of work are flexible, but Saturday work is required
